Nelson Atkins Engagement Session: Ali + Ezzard

What an adorable couple Ali and Ezzard are! My husband (Phillip) and I were so excited to see them again. Setting up a day for our session was tough because of the Kansas City weather, rain one day and freezing cold the next. We finally picked a day and it could not have been more perfect! The sun was out and the temperature was like a warm fall day. Which was great because we they wanted their engagement photos shot at the Nelson Atkins, where Ezzard proposed to Ali. They have a great love for animals like us and wanted a few shots with their Dog, Buddy, who could not have been more of a Gentlemen with his fresh haircut and bow. Once we had enough shots with Buddy, Ali's sister was there to take him back home. Which really helped so we could get a lot more photos of Ali and Ezzard together. They are such a beautiful couple and we enjoyed capturing their love in photographs.

This is the bench where Ezzard proposed to Ali. So romantic!
